It has been one wild February here at the PRC studio but it’s not quite over yet, because I have another brand new weekly show announcement. Please welcome the all mighty Plan Nine Rock Show hosted by my good friend Jasper! The brand new show will be kicking off this Thursday night at 10 pm ET (right after the amazing Rock N’ Rock Geek Indiecast) with more punk rock and roll than ever imagined.

Every brand new show added this year has had its own special sauce (as I like to call it) and the Plan Nine Rock Show might just be the sauciest show to date. For more info check out the shows MySpace page over at myspace.com/plannineprint.

For all other amazing live shows check out the very trusty show page, full of all the essential live show info needed to keep up with the ever changing PRC Radio. Hell ya!

If you have not heard about the Harvest of Hope Festival by now you are probably living in a cave. Anyway, here is the spiel just to refresh your weak ass memory:

Our friends over at No Idea Records and the guys who built The Fest from the bottom up are very proud to announce yet another amazing weekend long punk rock festival! When you see this line up you will be booking you’re air plane tickets or fueling up your punk ride before you can say COC-A-DOODLE-DO.
Come join the Harvest of Hope Festival March 6th, 7th and 8th in sunny St. Augustine, Florida for the best weekend of the year! Did I mention 80% of the proceeds are going to the non-profit organization Harvest of Hope, an incredible charity that helps raise money to aid migrant farm workers with medical and educational expenses. Check out this amazing foundation and the amazing line up happening just around the corner at www.harvestofhopefest.com…yes I copied and pasted that from an older Blog. Did I mention I am a very busy person (porn is not hobby okay).

Moving forward…I have a kick ass bag of FREE full weekend passes to give away for four very special people. Remember this is a pair per winner so tell your friend to start packing (assuming you’re not from around Florida).

All you have to do is send in your full name, full mailing address and why you want these kick ass pair of tickets to freeprcstuff@gmail.com and you my friend will be eligible to win these amazing tickets.

*Note: This event takes place on March 6th, 7th and 8th in sunny St. Augustine, Florida, USA.

January was as slow as I have ever seen for releases this year, but thanks to February my desk is piled high with tons and tons of new release. I must say it’s quite overwhelming. Now with that said, I happen to be looking forward to a very special release from Epitaph, which was the brand new record from Thursday titled Common Existence. I was a pretty big Thursday lover back in the day due to Full Collapse in 2001, but after that I wouldn’t touch a Thursday release with a 10 foot pole. Now when I heard that Epitaph was releasing their new album I thought to myself, this might actually bring back the Thursday I once loved. As always…Epitaph saved the day because Common Existence is down right amazing. I can’t stop listening to this record and if I had all day I would go into deep detail as to why, but let’s keep it short and sweet. Thursday’s back baby! Go pickup their brand new record Common Existence which its stores (digitally and physically) February 17th, 2009!

Better late than never I decided to post about an amazing new site I stumbled upon while going through the mountains of emails received here daily. Check this live streaming concert tonight (Feb 11th, 2009) for free over at www.fabchannel.com!

Here is that they had to say about it:

This Wednesday (Feb 11) online concert channel, www.fabchannel.com, is bringing to you one of the pioneers of the British punk movement, the legendary Buzzcocks! In an exclusive and free live concert broadcast, viewers from around the world can join the audience at the famous Paradiso in Amsterdam for the entire gig.

Performing only their classic first two albums including singles ‘Ever Fallen in Love’ and ‘Orgasm Addict’ this is one concert you don’t want to miss. The webcasts will start at 19.30 (GMT) at: www.fabchannel.com/buzzcocks.

A few days after the live show, the entire recording will be included to Fabchannel’s online video archive. So should you some how miss the live webcasts, you will still be able to watch the shows later on in the archive.
