Keeping the air waves rocking is a hell of a job and it may not sound as exciting as the stuff going on above but damn it sure sounds better (GET IT?). I am such a joker. We are actually starting to talk about adding some more streams and possibly higher quality. Look out for that coming soon and who knows maybe we will have an iphone app dropping sometimes in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled!

All in all it’s building up to be a huge summer for us and I hope you can say the same about your summer. If not turn on PRC, crank it to eleven, crack your favorite soda (Jones Soda) and have a party! Trust me it will help wash away those sad little emo kid tears.

Now as some of you may or may not know, Toronto is probably the only city in the world where you can NOT get any decent Mexican food. Each trip we take, Mexican is number one on the list and in cities where Mexican is abundant; we tend to over do it by consuming it several times a day. I have a few favorite Mexican places in Las Vegas, but after visiting Luxor’s latest dinning addition, Tacos and Tequila (T&T), I went no further.

T&T’s menu successfully combined traditional and modern Mexican food, along with the absolute best tequila collection I have ever come across. We started off with ordering Casarita’s which were to die for. T&T’s Casarita’s were mixed with a 100% agave, Grand Marnier and house made sweet and sour mix. Not only was it a great break from the pre-made slushy, 7-11 type mix you get all across the Vegas strip it became the signature drink of the trip! Since we stayed at the Luxor, we made a point to visit T&T for Casarita’s quite often throughout our trip!

Along with the drinks came chips and salsa! The chips had such a fresh taste to them, which now makes it hard for me to enjoy anything other than T&T’s! They came with two salsa’s a very flavorful green tomato based along with a red tomato based, Smokey flavored salsa. Both salsa’s had a very nice spice to them, but were not overwhelming. Perfect for both those who love spice, and those who can only handle a little.
For our main entree’s we went for the traditional TACOS!! We ordered two dishes, The Chiloro and Tinga Tacos, which we shared across the table.  The Tinga Tacos are perfect for spice lovers! The chicken is super tender and stuff nicely into a soft tortilla shell and topped with a spicy tomato sauce and crisp lettuce. UGH!! Why can’t I be in Vegas eating there right now!!!

The Chilorno Tacos, which were my absolute favorite TACO’s EVER, was filled with spicy pulled pork, crema fresca, pickled onion, and green salsa. Typically I order chicken taco’s because of my love for tender meat. The pulled pork in the Chilorno was so tender it would be chosen over any chicken any day. This is a dish you must order.

Both meals came with delectable rice and black beans, which like everything else were fresh and cooked with exceptionally amazing flavor. Both tacos also came wrapped in house made tortilla’s which is a must for me when visiting any Mexican restaurant.

Overall the restaurant is a 10 and must visit while in Vegas.

CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH – PARIS HOTEL
As soon as we arrived to the city of sin, the Paris Champagne Brunch was number one on our list. Choosing the Sunday brunch was quite an ordeal. We settled with Paris after reading nothing, but great reviews. As soon as we dropped our stuff off at our hotel, The Luxor, we made the 20 minute trek to Paris in the scorching heat.

By the time we got to Paris it was already 12:30 pm and we were absolutely STARVING!!! The line up into the buffet was ridiculously long. We jumped in line thinking it would only be a 20 minute wait, only to find out it was over an hour and a half. Luckily, the hotel had set up a booth across from the line where you can get $5 Bloody Mary’s or Screwdrivers. I opted in for the Bloody Mary (which had Horseradish in it, yuck) and Danny took the Screwdriver. It made the wait a lot less longer. Not only was the wait a killer, so was the cost – $85 for two adults and a kid!!

Jayde, who is only eight, went straight for the Crepe’s (see picture below). I headed for the lunch items since I had breakfast 6 hours earlier!! My favorites included the prime roast, spinach and cheese ravioli’s and the Ice Cream. They have soft serve to die for. I also had the shrimp and the crab, which I found to be pretty low quality. At the cost of eighty dollars I was more concerned on assuring we got lots of champagne, which did flow nicely.

Overall, I would rate this buffet a 7 out of 10 taking into consideration the long line up, quality and variety of food.

M&M SHOP / SOME CANTINA!!!
My plan was to head over to Bellagio after Paris, but we all felt waaay to full and hot to start wandering the strip so we made our way back to the Luxor for some pool fun!! On our way back we stopped into the M&M shop, as well as some Mexican place for drinks. Here are some pictures from this adventure:

Following our visit to the M&M’s shop, we went back to the hotel to relax before heading to Cirque Du Soleil’s, LOVE!! Since its super cold up here in Canada, I made a point to spend the evening at the pool catching some sun. The Luxor pool was very decent and the attendant assisted me to the VIP area for no apparent reason. It was the ultimate way to relax.

Ok, so I haven’t put up an update in a long while. Where should I begin?? I know VEGAS!!! Really need to get this out of my system.

LAS VEGAS!!!!

We leave for the City of Sin in FIVE DAYS!!! We have one sweet ass vacation planned. You know, this is officially the first trip we have taken for vacation purposes only?? Despite that, we are going to be covering a variety of Vegas shows, restaurants and other goodies for your knowledge. Before I get into covering what we will be covering, I have to make all you pretty listeners aware of an upcoming Punk Rock event, PUNK ROCK BOWLING!!!

Punk Rock Bowling is a yearly event that is pretty much a hidden secret. Each January just about the whole punk rock industry (bands, record labels, media and friends) head out to Vegas for a weekend of madness. It usually gets completely wild in the greatest ways possible. If you want to head out to the event check out this site:

http://punkrockbowling.com/

The event usually sells out and typically you need to know someone to get on a bowling team. Despite that, the whole weekend is a HUGE party in whichever hotel they place us. My advice is to just book a plane ticket and hit up the hotel of your choice. As long as you are in Sin City you can easily crash the event…just dont tell anyone I advised you to :) This years event is Jan 16-19, 2009

Now back to our trip that is next week. Here are some of the places we plan to see and things we are planning to do:

Hotel:
- Staying at the Luxor. Picked the Spa Pyramid Suite

Food:
 - Dicks: Is a personal MUST. The wait staff is exactly what it describes, DICKS. The food is great, the pricing is cheap, and there are free jello shooters :) Located inside the Excalibur Casino / Hote

- Taco’s and Tequila: New Mexican restaurant opening in Luxor this week. Mexican and Tequila = a favorite of Danny, myself and Mz. Jayde

- Kahunaville: A bit pricey, but they have thee best Vegas Flare bartenders. We hit this bar /restaurant EACH time we visit

- Paris Champagne Brunch: Never been, but it is highly recommended

Shows / Attractions:
- Cirque du Soliel ”Love”

- Cirque du Soleil “Mystere”

- Dolphin / Lion Habitat

- SIrens of TI

- Shark Tank swimming pool at Golden Nugget

- Rotating bar at Circus Circus (as seen in Fear and Loathing). This is a must. Been once but barely remember it

- Top of Stratosphere

- Few different Microbreweries

- FREEMONT STREET!! I think downtown Vegas is a personal favorite.

PUNKRADIOCAST TURNS 9 YEARS OLD

This year we are going all fucking out!! We are throwing probably the worlds greatest party, both at a venue and live on PunkRadioCast. All I have to say is Fat Mike, Dillinger Four, Keepin’ 6, Die Mannequin, Sex, Booze, Free Stuff, and more sex… Stay tuned. The event is only 2.5 weeks away, but I am not letting the cat out of the bag yet.

Aug 19

Last night we learned that Senator McCain is out here in Atlanta and is actually staying at a hotel just down the street from us. Ever since I found that out I have been on a mission to photograph the secret service that surrounds him. I don’t actually know if you are allowed to photograph them or their vehicles, regardless I thought I would try.

We headed out for a walk early this morning to explore our area in Atlanta. During our mission I spotted a big roach, dead on the street. In Canada we dont have roaches that live outside so I wanted to take a picture. Yes, I am weird!!! Danny convinces me NOT to so I put my camera away and the FREAKIN Secret Service cars drive by and I totally missed it!!!!!! As a Canadian its my first time seeing the secret service and I am sorry for not producing the picture. In Canada here is what we have for secret service / FBI status

The RCMP!!

So Danny and I are on yet another adventure. This time we are headed to Atlanta to do some top secret operations. Not medical operations, but please do expect some cool pictures. I also just saw in the weather report that on Thursday Atlanta is expecting to be hit by Tropical Storm Fay!! Although I am not down with natural disasters, I will admit this is my first tropical storm experience. Not really looking forward to it and the delays that will follow since we are supposed to fly out that day. Stay tuned…
