Posted by Danny G. Keyes Fri May 2 10:41:26 EDT 2008

Yes we have finally launched an official Blog. We call it Blogzilla! We will also be syndicating our official Blog right to our MySpace so whether or not you check our official Blog or our MySpace Blog you will be on top (oh I know you like that position) Turn on your blogdar and get ready to be amazing!....okay I tried Blog and radar together...I suck!

Why should you check the official Blog daily you ask? Well it is updated almost daily. It has exclusive contests, content that does not even surface on the air waves (trust me is juicy), monthly travel adventures the staff go on, to many drunken adventures and tons of other crazy shit that goes on around here. Think of it as our reality TV show minus they wont ever put us on TV cause we are way to wild =)

If you have not already noticed we change up our PRC website menu so that the Blogzilla could fully be unleashed! Oh yea here is the link incase you are really slow and just don’t care about menus.

Grind Vol XIV - JunoFest

Posted by Jenna James Tue Apr 29 9:48:04 EDT 2008

"This ain't no Etch-a-Sketch. This is one doodle that can't be un-did, Homeskillet." OK, so this doesn't contain any quips about teenage-pregnancy, but The Grind was at the Junos in Calgary last month. Well, technically at the JunoFest events and not the Avril-dripping, Hinder-reaking, Brian Mulroney schmooze-fest that are the actual awards (they wouldn't let us come to the party).

Between dipping in to different venues to drink a beer and check out as many of the 170+ acts as possible performing around Calgary Juno weekend, we caught up with our friends in The Saint Alvia Cartel (nominated for Best Rock Album) on the Friday night for a quick pre-gig talk. On Saturday we descended on The Stetson, to take in performances and interviews with The Evidence, Fallout Frequency (ex Belvedere, Downway & more) and The Neckers. In that last batch of interviews we managed to talk with a bunch of cool people including Dean from Meter Records, Jay and Isaac from The New Black Label, as well as Casey from Echo Base studios - if you've listened to any punk rock coming out of Calgary in the last 10 years, you've probably heard something worked on by Casey.

This all set to air Friday May 2nd at 4 pm ET live only on your favorite radio station, PunkRadioCast
